And it wasn't an "Apple vs $MACHINE" argument, either. I could have
mentioned the fans of my SPARCstation 10 instead. Or the fan of my TP 380D,
to stay on-topic. Any quality hardware whose price tag allowed the
manufacturer to shop for wuality components, as opposed to planned
obsolescence.
