Acer crash has flagged for me the desirability of installing the Recovery Console on my T43s (WXP) and 600Xs (W2K). So as a test I followed the installation instruction "Type the following where D: is the CD-ROM drive letter: D:\i386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons"
I run from C:\I386 and receive the error message "The option to upgrade will not be available at this time because Setup was unable to load the file C:\I386\WINNTUPG\NETUPDRD.DLL" So how is one to install the Recovery Console if IBM or MS did not include the DLL?
