Hello,

Yes, the X120e is BIOS-locked.

I have a "2x2 11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN PCI Express Half Mini Card Adapter"
FYU 60Y3251 installed in mine.

The Hardware Maintenance Manual also lists the following as compatible:

• Intel WiFi Link 5100 (FRU 43Y6517)
• Intel Centrino Advanced N (FRU 60Y3195)
• Intel WIMAX 6250 (FRU 60Y3209)

as being compatible.

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky

Does anyone know if the WiFi card in the X120e is BIOS locked? The Realtek
card it came with has horrible Linux support and I was hoping to swap it
out for an Atheros-based card.

It is referred to as the Fibonacci meal. Today's dinner is the sum of
yesterday's leftovers and the day before's leftovers.
