Thank you Philip. It makes me wonder why IBM killed off all the files on their former BBS ftp site, unless it was really taking up that much space/bandwidth (which I doubt is the case today).
Well the site did load up; now I just gotta sift through there. Thank you again, Paul -----Original Message----- From: Philip Kiff [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, March 29, 2012 18:49 To: 'Paul Khoury'; [email protected] Subject: RE: [Thinkpad] ThinkPad 755CE There is an archive of an FTP site that IBM used to run where you may find what you need. The archive seems to disappear and pop back up again hosted by someone else every 2-5 years or so. This is not an official IBM/Lenovo archive, but is just hosted by someone who wanted to keep these files available: http://ps-2.kev009.com/pccbbs/ It is easiest to find something if you use Google or Archive.org to find a reference to the exact filename you need, and then search the archive to see if it exists. There appear to be some 755-related files in this folder: http://ps-2.kev009.com/pccbbs/mobiles/ And that folder has a single index list you can try searching: http://ps-2.kev009.com/pccbbs/mobiles/00index.txt Phil.
