Hi Alex,

Yes I know this and in fact always used to use
OS/2 (now reborn as eCS) but that drive crashed
and I've not been able to bring it back up yet,
though it is planned for the summer.

I'm dabbling in Linux from time to time but
the learning curve is very high. It would take
at least two weeks to get up to speed and I
don't have two weeks to devote to this yet.
(I've just gone through an arduous but
successful effort to get youngest daughter into
university in the U.S.)

In any event I would run eCS for my production
machine and Linux for the various boxes I plan
to run for various purposes at various locations
I control in the U.S. and abroad. (e.g. NAS,
IP PBX) Right now I'm concentrating on bringing
up several IP PBXs to have transparent
communications among the several needful
locations and people.

In the meantime it's been useful to learn about
Windows as I'm the MIS Tech Support function for
all family members and many friends.

HTH
