I agree - I find 1366x768 on my 11.1" LCD to be about perfect. On a 15" display, it's lower pixel density than many desktop monitors. A while ago, I found a 15" 2048x1536 display on Ebay from an R51 and found myself wondering if it could go into a 15" T42, since they did share one potential display part number.
