Hey all,
My T400 slipped off a chair a few weeks ago. One of the screw mounts in
the lid busted, leaving a tiny hole in the cover. The cover is also
cracked, so when I close the screen, the left rear of the cover comes
away from the screen. Distressing to say the least, and I'm sure it will
fail sooner or later.
I busted out my trusty HMM but was dismayed to find THREE DIFFERENT part
numbers for the screen cover. I know I have an LED back light, but that
still leaves me with two options.
Just how different are they from each other?
I'd like to buy off eBay because it's so much cheaper, but the sellers
don't usually know which parts they have besides "T400 cover"... can I
make the incorrect parts work, or should I be very diligent about
getting the right one?
