File Vault on Mac does work but it is not centrally managed which is a 
requirement for many.  We use PGP on our Macs which is not the greatest but 
works and meets the security requirements.

I just ordered a bunch of T430s-es and they have a Thunderbolt port combined 
with mini-DisplayPort.  Best way to really find out what they have is to look 
up the exact model in the PSREF documents.
