Hello All, I've an interesting question. My W500 is killing a battery after 1+ years of service. Not too surprising considering I use it a lot.
So, I just got a new Lenovo battery, and after at least 5 hours, it's sitting at 27.97Wh. There have been times when it hasn't shown any increase for 10+ minutes, though it does always increase-- eventually. This is an OpenBSD system so I don't have easy access to windows battery tools. I've never had a problem before with the battery so I don't think this is a software issue. My real question is does a fresh battery take a long time to charge? I can't remember this but the last time I put a new battery in this laptop I went to sleep so I didn't notice anything. Puzzling.
