Just a sequential power cycle (everything off then after 30 sec. or 5 min.
depending on if you want to release the external IP address,  modem on then
wait until Cable/DSL/broadband/online/ready light is on steady,  then
router on,  wait for WiFi to start flashing,  then reconnect)  will solve
quite a few problems.
