I think this issue should be resolved in a better way.
There are two choices:
1. including pkg.m4 in the thrift/aclocal directory. this technique works for
me on one of my projects.
2. include some extra paths in aclocal call in bootstrap.sh. I imagine this is
happening mostly on osx. so include -I /opt/local/share/aclocal/
Thoughts?
