These two patches should do it. As the commit message in the second explains,
I've separated them into modifications and file removals for clarity, but I
will commit them as one. My test for this was to build and install fb303 (the
only user of this code) and build scribe. It worked with my patches for
THRIFT-292 and a few to Scribe that I'm sending in now.
