The board report for October is due this Wednesday the 12th. All of this has happened: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&&pid=12310800&updated%3Aprevious=-12w&sorter/field=updated&sorter/order=DESC but we all know that getting a release out the door is their biggest concern, and I'm not aware of continued activity on that.
