Hello Ping,

Please review the changes I made to your redesigned patch. About a a year ago I 
tried using it for a project, but encountered some I/O issues. Unfortunately I 
don't quite remember what they were, but I do remember that my changes fixed 
them. In the attached archive there's also a Ruby wrapper for the TSSLSocket 
class.
