Compiles fine on my machine, and appears to work, except for two issues:
# It silently truncates away the last byte of the name of the socket file (
"/tmp/foo.sock" -> "/tmp/foo.soc" )
# The Haskell client is refusing to talk to a C++ server using the unix socket
(I'm not convinced it's a problem in your code, I suspect the Haskell client is
trying to do something stupid)
