Sorry, I had to tell I tried to do that before, but that it didn't work. However, without it said "couldn't stat blah blah blah" in the terminal and nothing in Thunar, this gave this error and in the terminal that it could copy because it didn't exist or something...

That's because you have putted single quote characters around the full
command. You shouldn't do that - try to do it in a terminal, and it will
fail as well.

Try the following command:
cp ~/Templates/Text %f/
