I wish packaging systems like apt-get would allow installing the previous version. I know that would use up a lot of server space, but it would save users a lot of grief (like when I got an almost unusable install of Firefox 1.5). Anyway, that's a rant for another time and place.

I use Ubuntu Breezy with libgtk2.0, version 2.8.6-0ubuntu2.1.
I think that your newer gtk libraries have the problem.
What Xfce version do you use?
Greetings!
