i like that, but it should have 3 predefined times on it, short,
medium and long. set it to long to begin with so new users can
discover it or stumble upon it by accident, then make the other two
options, acctually usable. if people find it and like it, theyll use
it, or else it wont get in the way

another important thing is a way to get back up while still holding
the file. dont want to have to drop it, ctrl+x, then back up, then
ctrl+v
