2. If Thunar is unable to get a file listing from a location within X
seconds, spawn a notification (retry, cancel) dialog.
Ehm, no. This doesn't make sense.
When I format a SD card with my PDA, Linux is unable to read from it.
When I open the 'corrupted' location in Thunar, it just wait and doesn't
respond anymore... If there would be some sort of timeout, I could
'save' my Thunar session instead of killing it.
This sounds like a bug in Linux then.
mkdosfs /dev/sda1 corrects this...
3. When copying/moving files to an other location, check if the
destination has enough free space to hold that files.
It does that already while copying.
How come I get the following error then?
You get the error because Thunar detects that not enough space is available.
I get this error after Thunar has copied xx% of the file and can't
write the rest of it.
