That doesn't really sound like much of a project though. Changing thunar's volume manager to automount would only require a couple lines of code per volume manager impl, no? Or one each, even. Or one could write a little daemon in like 50 lines that uses thunar-vfs and automounts every time something gets plugged in. Ok, here's one in 48 lines: http://spuriousinterrupt.org/files/xfce4/thunar-vfs-automounter.c Well, ok, now that I added the license header, it's more than 50 lines. Sue me. (Note: wrote it in about 5 minutes, not tested beyond plugging in my ipod to see if it automounts. If it causes your computer to explode, or insults your mother, I disclaim responsibility.) -brian -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFEWZ+y6XyW6VEeAnsRAsRfAJ4jxRGHE3sE/r2bgcK46gxQhv2+TACfcv1o K/jmYY+wMwIue3vdzkp6ogw= =hYdI -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Thunar-dev mailing list [email protected] http://foo-projects.org/mailman/listinfo/thunar-dev
