I recently also started having a problem with "bad vibes" error. And while 2 accoutns didn't work one still did. After I upgraded to the 1.2.19b42, two of the three accounts worked. The thrid still gave the same error however it also mentioned something about a odd number of messages. Or that they didn't match (I forget the exact error offhand).
Anyway I logged into my hotmail account on the website and moved a few messages to another folder. And it started working again.
