Thanks, I went to my hotmail account in a browser, unchecked the start-up page and set it to go to straight to the inbox.
I then downloaded and installed the 1.2.19b45 and the 1.3.3b3. All seems to be fine. Both receiving and sending emails. Alan PS: Am running TB2.0.0.17 on Ubuntu 8.10 and I also have the Lightning 0.9 plugin. PPS: Don't you just hate the way their web site tells me I need to upgrade my browser !!!! I'm using Firefox 3.
