The extension can only do what you can do yourself on the Hotmail
website. If you delete a mail on Hotmail website it is moved to the
"Deleted" folder. It will stay there until either you delete it, or it
is automatically deleted by Hotmail. When downloading mail using the
extension, what happens depends on the "Leave messages on server"
setting in the Thunderbird account settings for your Hotmail account. If
this is unchecked, the extension will delete messages on Hotmail's web
site, (move them to deleted folder). If the Leave messages on server is
checked, messages will stay in the Hotmail Inbox, but be marked read.
More sophisticated synchronisation of the mails on the web site and
copies on your computer isn't possible using an extension emulating a
POP3 server, it isn't part of the POP protocol.
