The changing of password did not work for me, however I downloaded and
installed the latest beta hotmail plugin hotmail-1-2-19b47.zip
This got me past the password issue and allowed me to download emails,
however I am now unable to send emails and get the following error

Hotmail-SR-BETA: loginHandler : Exception : TypeError.
Error message: szCookie.match(patternHotmailMT) has no properties
304

When going into preferences for the plugin I get the following error.

XML Parsing Error: undefined entity
Location: chrome://hotmail/content/Hotmail-Prefs.xul
Line Number 7, Column 1:<prefwindow type="prefwindow"
