OK, it just started working, but I don't know why.

I sent an error log back on 12/2/08. It occurred to me that reply to
the mailto link may no have worked, that maybe I should have sent to
the "[email protected]" mailto link at
the page bottom.
So I resent, then realized there was a line buried that had password
info that I hadn't deleted.
I logged in to my Hotmail account in FireFox and changed the password.
For the heck of it, I tried T-Bird Hotmail again. Got the same
password errors as before, except this time I expected it, since it
had actually changed. Once again, typed it in and selected remember
checkbox. Then retried getting mail from hotmail - AND IT WORKED JUST
LIKE IT USED TO!

Since then I've tried it twice, even sent myself email from another
account - works perfectly. I believe that everything is unchanged,
EXCEPT that I changed my Hotmail password. I have no idea why this
would help, since the account and password worked fine in FiireFox,
then and now, but, there you are!

I hope this is some help in cracking the case! Good luck. I live the
extension - especially now!
