I have had problems with Google and Hotmail. With Google:- Access Thunderbird, for Google Mail. Get Error Wrong Password. Get popup saying check password. Password is highlighted. I retype password. Still same error Lose Password and have to put in again Still wrong password. If I could not remember password, this is a pain as the save password gets lost. I go to sign in to Google Mail Told incorrect mail address, retry. Type again then told mailbox is disabled. Try different combinations of password. Put the correct one in again, that Google Webmail kept refusing, and it worked this time. I started Thunderbird and the password that was not accepted last time is now accepted,
I have had a similar issue with my Hotmail.com saying incorrect password. So both Hotmail and Google itermitently accepts password to their accounts in Thunderbird. Copying and pasting the same text into it. However, Hotmail, at that moment of not working on Thunderbird, does work in Hotmail Webmail. And Google, when playing up in Thunderbird, is also playing up on Google Webmail, at the time. This Is A Nusance, as I was Unable to sign into this Google Forum for ages, whilst I kept trying to sign in on the web via Google, saying incorrect password, disabled email box, then same wrong password accepted. Is it possible that this could be a webmail bug that: A: Intermittently sends wrong password to Hotmail and Google Accounts (My Only Webmail Accounts) B: In Hotmail Web Still allows me to access in the Browser.
