I occasionally get messages which are totally trashed once downloaded into Thunderbird - appear as random character string - although most e- mails are ok; and message source for the affected e-mail looks ok.
Yes, I have the messages both still in Yahoo, and in T-bird (including headers): if advised how, I can forward them (but Google groups appears to provide neither full e-mail addresses, or a an attachment facility.
