I just stumbled across this and figure that the info may help somebody else. It seems that certain characters in your hotmail password will result in the negative vibes password.
I have two hotmail accounts and was somewhat stumped when one stopped working while the other continued to work perfectly. After logging in and verifying that all settings were the same on both accounts in Thunderbird and also in hotmail's settings online, I finally tried changing the password. It worked! The password on the account that worked only contained letters, but the other one also contained a symbol. Sorry, but I haven't tested it to see which symbols break it and which don't. Also, sorry if this is already known information, but I didn't see it in the FAQ. Thanks again for the extension! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Thunderbird Webmail Extension" group.
