Hi, I recently install openSUSE 11.1 with KDE 4.1.3 and also Thunderbird. I use TB more than 2 years on Windows and it's great. The problem is, that in Linux I can't get access to my Hotmail pop account. It works fine on Windows XP SP3. Not in Linux. I have the 2 systems in separate partitions for now - Linux beginner cautions :-). I tried several tips that I have found on the Web. Nothing works.
I have TB 2.0.0.19 (Portuguese) with the add-ons Webmail 1.3.2; Webmail-Gmail 0.6.3; Webmail-Hotmail 1.2.21. Same in Windows and it works fine. On Linux, in the add-on Webmail, the status of pop(110), smtp(25) and imap(143) is off. The error message when try to connect is "Connection to server localhost fail; connection denied". The account settings are: Server name: localhost pop: 110 smtp: 25 user: [email protected] Can you help me please. I am trying to change to Linux, so that way I can finally go Open Source in all software. Thank you Regards, Paulo --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Thunderbird Webmail Extension" group.
