I am having some what of a similar problem. I see hotmail connecting and seeing the emails and starts to download them then it times out. here is error log i get. Hotmail-SR-BETA: serverComms : Exception : NS_BASE_STREAM_CLOSED. Error message: Component returned failure code: 0x80470002 (NS_BASE_STREAM_CLOSED) [nsIOutputStream.write] 1328
