Thanks, Nick, but I'm not comfortable with getting "most" of my yahoo 
mail.  I hadn't been seeing any problems at all until this 1.4.2 version 
was pushed out.  I'd really rather move back, but when you allow Tbird 
to update extensions (rather than manually downloading extensions to 
install) you don't get to save the file for archival purposes.  I'd 
really like to find a web site that has the prior version available 
because I am not happy with this version at all. 

In the future, I'm going to resist the "automatic" installation and opt 
for manually downloading so I can save the files.
