Ymail works with webmail. Do this: (Thunderbird) Tools --> Add-ons --> Extensions (tab in the upper margin)--> WebMail - Yahoo!--> Options --> Choose "Account" Instead of "Domains" at the top (tab in the top most margin)--> Select your ymail account from the drop-down menu --> Click the "Mode" tab --> Click either "new classic" or "beta."
That should help you retrieve messages from ymail.
