I had the same issue.

It turned out that it was my internet provider that was preventing me 
from sending email through the port.  I use AT&T DSL and if you do not 
have one of there domains in the reply it would not go.

So, to solve this issue, I created a gmail account and send all my email 
through that port with the correct reply to in the email.
