The Webmail Author will need to know a bit more about what is
happening before this. The Webmail extensions play absolutely no role
whatsoever in the storing or management of passwords - that is
function entirely confined to the main Thunderbird program.

However, if you experience a login problem - in which the Yahoo
extension can play a role - then if you accept the cancel option
presented by Thunderbird (not the extension) then Thunderbird does
delete the saved password for the account.

In another thread the Webmail Author has advised that there is a new
problem with changes made by Yahoo to the login process. The Webmail
Author is working on a circumvention for this latest issue. In the
meantime - if you get a login failure from Yahoo is is best to check
the box to "remember this password" and try again. If the error is
this most recent one the retry will almost always succeed.
