I decided to go through some of the code.
I see why there is no Mode tab now.
It's written out of the code in the 5b11. It looks like it defaults to
the new page?
Problem is I get rejected at login on that page.
On the 5b5 version, the Production Website setting allows login in and
connects.
According to the log, it's accurately reading the contents of the
mailbox, both folders and number of messages in each, including that
there are unread messages in the Inbox. It is definitely accessing the
server with my mailbox. It's just not downloading them. On the T-bird
status bar, it's showing "No new messages".
Seems the problem isn't that I was using the wrong setting and unable
to connect to the yahoo server, but that it's not downloading what
it's finding.
