I just tried, and get the same error. Sending a mail with the same 
subject, "Yahoo & Web Mail?", from the web site works fine, so it's not 
a limitation of Yahoo itself.  As a work round, typing "and" in full 
instead of the symbol works, but may not always convey exactly what you 
want to say.
