Pop is set to port 1056 and is running ie. green. SMTP is set to port 1057 and also is running/green. Imap is set by default to port 143 and is stopped. FWIW POP and SMTP servers start up immediately on opening Thunderbird and have done so though out this issue.
Also as of this morning Webmail-Yahoo is working. I have sent and received mails with my [email protected] account in Thunderbird this morning. What I did was to remove Webmail and Webmail-Yahoo extensions. Then I removed Thunderbird rebooted and reinstalled Thunderbird and the extensions.
