The author of the Webmail extension sent me a beta versions which fixes my problem. However, sometimes I get a timeout (I use multiple hotmail accounts; maybe to big files?). Another thing I have is that after restarting thunderbird the pop and smtp services from webmail cannot start anymore and if I use netstat - tapn | grep theportnumberiuse then I see something like gpg-... which is pretty strange as I dont use gpg and it uses just the ports I do(I changed it and a little later I had the same problem). I am not sure if this is a reproducible error(did not look into this).
