Personally I have alway used the Gmail pop3 setup with imap as a
backup. But if are behind firewall mostly likely you will need the
webmail extensions to get around it.

These should be the settings for the webmail extension though:
You enter would "localhost" in the server field. That is the go
between Webmail and TB.
Ports 110 for receive and Port 25 for the smtp.
In the user name field you enter your complete email address.
For secure connection check "never".
It should setup petty much the same as Hotmail except for gmail.com
instead of hotmail.com or live.com.
And you will need the gmail extension for webmail install too.

Pop3 and Imap of course have different settings. They also have secure
settings available.
