Ok thank you.
But I solved the problem copying the content of the folder "web-
mail-1-3-6b1" that I unzipped in the folder ~/library/thunderbird/
profiles/XXXYZ.default/extension/{the_strange_named_folder}

Then I restarted TB and it seems to work well.
