After the webmail author spent loads of time helping me, it ended up
that my settings needed chaning in TB itself.

quote "Can you check Thunderbird's cookie setting is set at 2. Open
Thunderbird's options panel, goto the General tab and press the config
editor button. Search the prefs for network.cookie.cookieBehavior"

I think this is the same as simply setting TB to refuse cookies,
(options, security, webcontect), and un-tick the allow cookies.

If that alone does not work, I will send you the beta extension we
last tried, as it could have been a mix of both.
email me if you need the extension sent, but my guess is the cookies
setting will work.
(Note - all credit goes to the author for this fix!!)
