I Have Similar Error that has only just been happening the within the last 12-24 hours???

Been Runny Error Free for a Few Months, until now.

Error On Pop-Up Says:-

"Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server localhost responded: negative vibes from ****_at_hotmail.com"

I Have Not changed Any Passwords, Though I Did Retype in the Password, when Thunderbird gave option..

I, Too, Have:
Vista Premium SP2
Thunderbird 3.0.1
Webmail 1 3 5
Webmail Hotmail 1 2 24
Kaspersky Internet Suite 2010

I Have at least 5 Years Of Emails on My Thunderbird 3.0.1 on 5 accounts.

I normally copy Whole Thunderbird Between Reinstalls, and Upgrades of windows.

Thunderbird Still Works Great, but Hotmail just stopped working, like I said.

Has There been an update that might have caused it.

I also went to Live to sign on, on Web, and ensure there were no Popup instructions waiting for an answer, like in the past, but I saw none, and I pressed check updates on Webmail addons..

Thanks in advance..

My Hotmail Folders In Box, in Thunderbird, contain over 3,000 emails going back to 2006

:-)

Same error here. In my case happened after I changed my password on
hotmail. After that, I cleaned all my passwords from Thunderbird, but
no luck. Maybe there's temps file being used? any way to REALLY clean
your temps?

Thanks in advance.

Thunderbird 3.01
Webmail 1.3.5
