To my knowledge the webmail version only supports the Pop3 and Smtp. Thunderbird has a separate setting for the IMAP's; unless your behind a firewall, you can setup the Gmail Imap as a regular email account but select the IMAP setting on setup instead of the pop3. This is done outside of webmail is not currently supported by webmail. If behind a firewall you may be able to add an exception but this is not always possible; hence, the use of webmail.
If I am wrong in my thinking please someone correct me. Eugene On Jun 9, 9:53 am, Allan Siao Ming Witherick <[email protected]> wrote: > Any idea how to get the IMAP option working? I have it working for > GMAIL for POP and SMTP but it has red cross for IMAP?
