Unsupported domain

Hi
I have been having a problem using either Yahoo or Hotmail from
Thunderbird.
Thunderbird shows a popup saying that the log has failed and a network
trace (wireshark)
Shows the extension (imap running on port 9143) returning "NO
unsupported domain"
with both addresses @yahoo.com and @hotmail.co.uk. As far as I can see
everything
is configured correctly. The Hotmail account was working using mbox
mail for mac.
