Lately, email from mail.com doesn't seem to work anymore (if I reckon
right, since the last update of the Webmail extension, but I'm not
sure).

Every time Thunderbird tries to retrieve the email I keep getting the
following message: "Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server
localhost responded: Comms error from [email protected]" (xxx being my
email address). I get this for both my mail.com accounts.

Up until now I've been able to solve all the webmail issues by
following the threads on this group but for now I couldn't find
anything related to this issue, recently, as all the others seem to
focus on hotmail.

I have TB 3.0.6 with Webmail 1.3.8 and AOL 1.2.15 extensions.

The Error Console in TB registers the following 3 messages every time
I TB tries to login into any of the mail.com accounts:

"my.screenname.aol.com : server does not support RFC 5746, see
CVE-2009-3555"

"HttpComms3.js: send : Exception : NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER.
Error message: Component returned failure code: 0x80004003
(NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER) [nsIIOService.newChannelFromURI]
342"

"AOLPOP.js: loginHandler : Exception : Error.
Error message: httpConnection returned false
252"

Can anybody, please, let me know if you encounter the same issue? Or
what can be done to fix this?
Thanks.
