Hi, Not been able to access my hotmail accounts via Thunderbird for a week. The passwords were all being rejected but TB wouldn't allow me to enter a new password. I can access all hotmail accounts via my browser.
So today I tried finding updates to \Add Ons but TB reported none for webmail or or webmail- hotmail. Therefore I just downloaded the two .tar files from here dated Aug 1. These have been installed. The password problem appears to have gone and it connects, sees the messages (I see downloading xxx in the status bar) but then get this error message "The RETR command did not succeed. Error retrieving a message. Mail server localhost responded: negative vibes from [email protected]" What next?
