Several strange things are happening with all the MS changes and the
Hotmail xpi, maybe even the Webmail xpi. Things are slowly improving;
there is a lot code to go through to make it compatible with
everybody's setups.

If your using an anti-virus software, try turning it off and try
sending thru the Hotmail extension. I found that I am having problems
here with Hotmail webmail extension with both send and receive when
AVG is online; of course, I am using Win2000 operating system so this
may not work with your setup but is worth giving a try to help narrow
down the problem.

In my anti-virus there is a setting to turn off incoming and outgoing
email scans but this didn't help; I had to turn off the resident
shield before things worked.
