The Yahoo 1.4.7 and WebMail 1.3.11 have been working fine for
months(years) with Thunderbird Client 3.1.6.

This morning I got a message that my account my have been compromised.
The Yahoo site asked me to change my password. I tried to change it to
the same password but no luck. I changed it to a new password and then
the site asked me fill in a Captcha screen (hidden or skewed letters).
The site then allowed me to sign on. When I tried check Yahoo with
Thunderbird a Captcha screen popped up and I filled it in and the mail
was checked and received.

Every 10 minutes when Thunderbird checks all 3 of my mail accounts,
the Yahoo Captcha screen pops up again but it has no relationship with
TBird receiving Yahoo mail. However to look at the downloaded mail I
must close the Captcha pop up because Thunderbird locks till it is
closed.

THE QUESTION IS: How do I get the CAPTCHA pop up to stop? How to kill
the pop up from functioning.

Thanks so much for your input and your halp with this new issue.

Hartley
