I am using a computer with Windows 7 Home Premium. I have tried installing and unistalling TB 5 and TB 6 both, this problem happens in both. I have Webmail 1.4.3 installed. I have Webmail AOL/Netscape 1.3.2, Webmail Gmail 0.7.1, Webmail Hotmail 1.3.5, and Webmail Yahoo 1.5.3 or Webmail Yahoo 1.5.3b1 have both been tried. I have the accounts set up correctly I am sure. I have tried both localhost and 127.0.0.1 as the mail server. Whenever I try to set up a new account in TB, it is able to probe the server and get settings. But, when I click on Create Account, it says Checking Password, then I get the message "Configuration could not be verified - is the username or password wrong?" SSL is set to none and Password is set to Normal Password.
Any ideas what is wrong? I have tried creating yahoo accounts as well as hotmail accounts, and this happens with both. Oh, and when I cancel the account creation, down at the bottom I see a status message : Connect: host for ********@yahoo.com on 127.0.0.1 contacted, sending login information... There is a status bar that shows a green stripe going across repeatedly, like it is working, but it never quits, like it is stuck in a loop.
