Hello, Same problem for me over the last few days, on both a Windows and an Ubuntu install of TB. Versions identical for both systems: - ThunderBird 8.0 - WebMail 1.4.5 - Hotmail 1.3.7.

Mail server localhost responded: negative vibes from [email protected]" Error console (in "First > Last Sort Order", showing "All" and cleared error console before attempting a "Get Mail"): ------ Hotmail-SR-BETA: processMSG : Exception : TypeError. Error message: szMSGData.match(patternHotmailMad) is null 721 ------ Hotmail-SR-BETA: MailboxOnload : Exception : TypeError. Error message: szCleanResponse.match(patternHotmailMSGcount) is null 603 ------ My account is in order (can read mail via POP on smartphone and via web, and I have tried with new "flag" feature on the web both enabled & disabled, as suggested elsewhere, but it didn't resolve anything.) Thanks for all your hard work! I use the webmail since some locations where I work block the POP access for personal email, so it's much appreciated.
